David Bowman B.Sc (Hons), M.B.A., MRICS

David has 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, varying from starting as a trainee architectural technician to senior management in some of Europe’s largest construction materials companies.

David started his construction education in 1984 attending Huddersfield Polytechnic, before moving to UMIST (University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology) graduating in 1990. In 1995, David was successful in gaining chartered status with the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) as a building surveyor.

With a long history in the industry David can boast hands on involvement in projects varying in size, scope, industry and use. He has delivered many projects in different sectors from hotels and public houses, education, residential, industrial/commercial to retail and healthcare. Recently while working with one of the world’s leading engineered timber specialists David consulted and advised on the specifications for many of the buildings and stadia for the 2012 Olympic Games.

David's aim in starting Bowman Surveying and Design Ltd is to bring the extensive experience and knowledge gained in his career together to provide a customer focused Building Surveying and Architectural Design practice offering a wide range of services for both domestic and commercial clients.
